Infrasolid's gas filter cell is a cylinder filled with gas. It is used to block specific wavelength bands of interfering gases in optical gas measurements. Additionally, by filling it with reference gas at a specific concentration, it can also be used for calibrating gas analysis systems, such as aligning the laser wavelength to specific absorption bands. The hermetic seal ensures long-term stability. A soldered CaF2 window achieves high transmittance.
